Tyre Realty Group thanks you for checking out our newest series: Neighborhood Spotlight. The goal of this series is to highlight different neighborhoods each week. Since this a brand-new series, it is only fitting, to begin with, a brand-new development, Summer Place.
Summer Place is Pitt County’s newest development, located in Grimesland. These homes will start in the upper $200,000’s with at least 2,000 square feet. All these homes will feature granite countertops, walk-in closets and tile flooring in bathrooms, just to name a few interior details. On the outside, the homes will have mostly vinyl siding, with some brick or stonework to highlight the homes. Centipede sod will accent the front yard, while a builder’s mix that includes a winter rye seed and a summer fescue seed will be planted in the backyard to help new buyers keep a year-round green lawn.
This new neighborhood is located just minutes away from the newer Walmart on Highway 33. Close to this newer Walmart is also a small shopping center close to a Food Lion and some locally owned restaurants, as well. From there, it is a short commute to ECU’s main campus and the growing Uptown Greenville scene with more locally owned shops and eateries. Since Summer Place is in Grimesland, it is in the G.R. Whitfield elementary and middle schools, which feed into the popular D.H. Conley High School district.
If all those details are starting to peak your attention, hold on because we have more. Not only will A. Sydes Construction be building homes but Caviness and Cates Communities will also be constructing new homes in Summer Place. With two builders, that means there will be over twenty floorplans available. Both A. Sydes Construction and Caviness and Cates Communities have been in Pitt County for close to ten years now. A. Sydes Construction has built-in Mellon Downs, Villa Grande, and Laurie Meadows subdivisions, as well as many others. Caviness and Cates Communities has built homes in Glen Castle at Irish Creek, Taberna, Copper Creek and Harris Ridge, plus many others in the past.
As previously mentioned, Summer Place has already started construction.
